Donna Walters Kozberg – President & Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Walters Kozberg is a licensed and nationally-certified rehabilitation counselor, and has graduate degrees in rehabilitation counseling (MRC), business management (MBA) and writing (MFA). A well-known expert in career development and workplace accommodations, she has been active on the boards of numerous nonprofit, educational, and professional associations, including the President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities.

Ronald P. Kozberg – Executive Vice President

Mr. Kozberg is a licensed and nationally-certified rehabilitation counselor, with graduate degrees in rehabilitation counseling (MRC), and public health (MPH). He has directed internationally-recognized vocational and educational rehabilitation and quality assurance programs. Mr. Kozberg’s background includes expertise in vocational assessment, vocational counseling, computer science and technology education, and program management.

Carrie Smoot – Recruitment Coordinator

For eight years, Ms. Smoot worked for the President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, now the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy. Ms. Smoot earned an M.A. in journalism and public affairs from the American University in Washington, D.C. She is a nonfiction writer who often covers workplace issues.

Jeffrey Mayer - Lift's Website Designer/Developer

Mr. Mayer has been a member of Lift since 1993. With Lift's assistance, he has been placed in progressively more advanced positions with such prestigious companies as Dun & Bradstreet, New York Life, Johnson & Johnson and the National Carrier Exchange Association (NECA). He received training in client/server, mainframe, and ultimately web design, development and applications.
