Candidate Qualification Process
Lift is both an employer with deep experience in the IT industry and a rehabilitation agency, and as such bridges the gap between traditional service providers and its corporate clients. Because Lift is managed by licensed rehabilitation counselors with significant expertise in vocational rehabilitation, Lift can evaluate issues that could affect job success (e.g. health, stamina, and family concerns) and advocate behind the scenes for applicants (e.g. with landlords and transportation networks).
Because of its thirty-five year history in IT recruitment, training and placement, Lift is more experienced than other service providers in understanding industry requirements. Lift’s screening process is rigorous. Lift seeks applicants who have physical disabilities and outstanding analytical ability, excellent communications skills, strong ambition and career potential.
