Entry Level Programmer Analyst Position – Lift, Inc.

A leading insurance company is seeking bright, energetic, recent, or soon-to-be, college graduates.  Applicants accepted into the Lift program for these positions will have the opportunity to build technical, business and management skills in a team-oriented environment. 

Skills to be developed: 

• Applications development
• Database systems
• Repository systems
• Infrastructure systems

Responsibilities will include:

• Training to increase knowledge of computer software and hardware technologies
• Participating in coding and testing modifications or enhancements to programs, procedures, and processes
• Documenting processing and programs as required
• Becoming familiar with the concepts of logical and physical database design
• Assisting in developing and modifying data and module design specifications
• Acquiring general knowledge of the business aspects of the insurance industry

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree as of June 2009
• Acceptable scores on aptitude tests
• A physical disability
• Strong communications skills
